Christmas in old St. Augustine December 21st 2013

This annual heritage event features the Christmas music and customs of 16th century St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. This holiday celebration takes place from 6-9PM at Mission Nombre de Dios, where the Great Cross stands, off San Marco Ave in uptown St. Augustine. The Great Cross marks the spot where Pedro Menendez de Aviles landed on August 28, 1565. The first Catholic Mass was celebrated there that morning. This is the oldest parish in the United States. Free admission and parking.
