Noa Victoria Ship Tours

The El Galeon and the Nao Victoria will be making stops in St. Augustine. The Nao Victoria, a 75 foot, 170 ton authentic, fully functional Spanish vessel that is operated in the same manner as those in the early 16th century arrived 12/23/13 and El Galeon will arrive on 1/6/14

The Nao Victoria and El Galeon were docked in St. Augustine last year. St. Augustine is now the North American Homeport for ships belonging to the Nao Victoria Foundation.

The Nao Victoria is a replica of the first ship to travel the globe between 1519 and 1522, according to the St. Augustine 450th Commemoration. Juan Ponce de Leon was in a similar ship in 1513 when he discovered Florida.

The El Galeon, a replica 16th century vessel, will return to St. Augustine from Puerto Rico. The El Galeon is similar to a galleon used by Don Pedro Menendez de Avilez, who founded St. Augustine.

The ships will be open from 9AM to 5PM daily for public tours at the St. Augustine City Marina. Call 904-824-1606 for more information
